“Ignorance is planted in our minds and hearts by the pleasures of the Modern Day. This divorces us from the core values of life . It forces us to ignore the Creator of Nature, forgetting the importance of a culture that constantly reminds us where we come from.
I am drawn to facial expressions, which I merge with animals that symbolise totems – one of a few remnants of tradition that is left among black Zimbabweans.”
