amanzi @ amanzi
Contemporary Cuisine in the heart of Zimbabwe. The vision of seasoned restauranteur Andrew Mama, Amanzi @ Amanzi, gives you a dining experience with a difference. It offers classic comfort foods with a contemporary modern twist.
The interiors are a collaboration of Julia Mama and interior designer, Tania Reddering. The theme is welcoming and timeless with a strong focus on African design, colour and vibrancy. The hint of vintage is juxtaposed to the emerging Zimbabwean art celebrated on the walls.
khaya nyama wombles
Wombles is the legacy of seasoned chef and restaurateur Duncan Barker. Located in the old Amanzi Restaurant it is now run by Yvette and Tiffany Barker. Wombles is essentially a Steakhouse but the menu has so much more. Grilled prawns, calamaris, duck with black cherry sauce and flambéed crepe suzette to name just a few. Richly decorated in an amazing setting, Wombles is a must visit when in Harare. The vibrant cosmopolitan nature of its clientele and loyal following is a testament to this.
